Windows 10
Windows 10 is Microsoft's newest operating system and the successor to Windows 8.1.
There are many new elements added to the new operating system. Windows 10 is also interesting because it runs on almost all devices: Desktop computers, tablets, convertibles and embedded devices. On smartphones, Windows 10 first replaced Windows Phone, and Universal Apps make Windows apps run on all devices. At the end of 2019, Windows 10 for smartphones was discontinued. So far, Microsoft has not announced whether they will present with a new solution for smartphones in the future.
Another special feature was that all users of Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 could switch to Windows 10 for free for one year. Those who switched within this year will use Windows 10 permanently for free. After this period, however, you have to pay, no matter which operating system you are using at that time.
