This was preceded by a performance analysis to estimate which algorithms are fastest for which cameras. Neural networks (machine learning) were used, and we examined which ones are suitable and how long training takes depending on the quality.
Our customer develops cameras for infrared images. Until now, there were no suitable algorithms for these to reliably recognise faces in photos and videos. We developed a reliable solution and handed over comprehensive documentation, the training files and the code for further development.
