As a software service provider, we are currently seeing a high level of digitalisation activity among German SMEs. Companies are securing their future now and optimising processes in production and administration.
Modernising the software is the first step. This involves simplifying the architecture and structure of the software, implementing new technologies and using new libraries. Porting is often necessary as well - that is, moving to a new operating system and/or from an outdated programming language to the latest one. Here it is particularly important that the software gains in speed, quality and ergonomics. As a result, it becomes leaner, more efficient and more secure overall.
What does this bring companies? Numerous advantages: above all, high speed and a clear view. In short, they work more easily, are more flexible and can respond more quickly to changes in the market. In addition, they save a great deal of money in the long term, because extensions and new functions are easier to program for lean, well-thought-out software.
End customers also benefit enormously from shorter delivery times, more convenient ordering processes and higher quality. And, honestly, who doesn't like seeing happy faces when employees can work quickly and easily with an attractive, tidy user interface?
