What Lies Behind a Robot Movement

Through image processing and object recognition, different objects in space can be recognised and sorted into categories.

If you want to grip them with a robot, the items have to be located in space.

For error-free localisation of objects, a 3D model of the environment must be created. To then be able to grip this object, a robot arm needs various sensors in addition to cameras.

In order to use our software, which we developed as part of a research project, in the social sector, the gripping movements must also work with different sensors, cameras and robot arms.

Here you will find all articles about our research project.
