• Several people work on the same file, and in the end nobody knows which version is valid.
• Only one person still understands the formulas and macros. When they are on holiday, the process stops.
• In the workshop, in the lab or at the customer's site, the spreadsheet is not at hand. So notes go on paper and are typed in later.

What your Excel file can become

• Desktop application: for the office workstation, with input forms, analyses and printouts.

Your data come with you. We transfer them from the Excel files. And anyone who still needs a spreadsheet gets an export to Excel.

How it works

1. Looking at the Excel files. You send us your files. We check what is in them: data, formulas, macros and the rules in between.
2. Asking about the processes. Rarely is everything documented. That is normal. We ask who enters what and when, and what happens next. A conversation with the people who work with the file every day replaces many pages of specification.
3. First version. You quickly receive an application to try out, with your real data.
4. Requests right in the program. Every application has an input field for requests and questions. You write down what is missing or bothers you, right when you notice it.
5. Extending. We implement your requests. Much of it is in place the very next day.

The best ideas come during work, not in meetings. That is why feedback is built right into the application. One click, one sentence, done. This way the program grows with your processes instead of being outdated again after a year.

From practice
